EASA AET Programme and Professional Learning Programme Summer Term 2021 Dates

FAO: All Schools / All Phases

Dear Colleagues,

We hope you are keeping well.

Please see the attached dates for our upcoming Autism Education Trust (AET) training programme sessions and our weekly autism-related professional learning sessions, which will be delivered online via Zoom. Details of our Professional Learning Programme and AET Training Programme, including booking information, can also be found on the EASA website under the Training tab.

All of these sessions are free to Enfield school staff as they are partially funded by Enfield Schools SEN High Needs Block funding. The professional learning sessions are free for private nursery staff/private childcare professionals but the AET courses are not. Charges are detailed on the attached AET schedule and our website.  Private nursery staff/Private childcare professionals: Please purchase a ticket from the AET website if necessary and then register for the Zoom sessions using the links on the attached documents. Enfield school staff can also set up an AET account on the AET website to receive free resources but this is optional. Please contact us by email and we will send you the coupon code to obtain a free ticket. Please check you have entered your email address correctly when registering on Zoom or you will not receive the meeting link.  Once you have registered, you will receive an automated confirmation email from Zoom with the “Click Here to Join” link to join the meeting.  You can also add these meetings to your calendar from the same email.

New Autism Resource Suite on the AET website

A brand new Autism Resource Suite is now live on the AET website. It’s a set of four resources supporting leaders, SENCOs and education professionals. They are a collaboration between the AET, Whole School SEND/NASEN, Ambitious about Autism, ACER, NAS and the DfE. They are really thoroughly researched, excellent resources full of practical tools and case studies – please have a look and share with your teams. You can find the resources at the link below.

We hope you have a lovely Easter break! Take care and best wishes.
