Workforce costs are included in grant funding to support on-site testing in schools and colleges. Read the conditions of grant here.

For testing conducted between 23 August and 17 September, the ESFA will make payments to colleges, non-maintained special schools, local authorities and academies at the end of November 2021. Allocations for this period can be seen here.

For testing conducted from 18 September onwards, the ESFA will make payments to colleges, non-maintained special schools, local authorities and academies in April 2022.
