Aims
This course will examine the statutory requirements for the Early Years Foundation Stage and explore the themes and principles which underpin it as well as the non-statutory guidance which supports the delivery of the curriculum.
Overview
The course will include the importance of child development and how children learn, how an enabling environment promotes children's learning, strategies for effective adult-child interactions, observation skills and parent partnership.
Children need the freedom to appreciate the infinite resources of their hands, their eyes and their ears, the resources of forms, materials, sounds and colours
