To explore Unconscious Bias - what it is and how to recognise it to develop an inclusive school culture.
To look at strands across the school community and environment that impact children and young people; and with consideration can be actively anti-racist.
Overview
This is program is made up of two sessions (which can both also be booked separately):
Unconscious Bias:
This interactive session will delve into the meaning of unconscious bias and how it affects our own lives and society. Opportunity will be given to reflect on what this means for your school context and plan next steps for your school and you as an individual.
Empowerment of children and young people:
This interactive session will provide stimulus for a variety of areas across school life with opportunity for participants to reflect on individual settings. The emphasis is on what can be changed to bring about a more positive inclusive environment for children and young people, where relationships are at the heart of everything.
