Safeguarding

In order to support our colleagues in schools we have created a safeguarding page on the hub which will give access to guidance, procedures, templates for reports and referrals and links to access additional information in relation to safeguarding children issues.

Additional documents will be uploaded as and when and when procedures are updated or there are developments which we need to update school colleagues.

As you are aware, referrals to MASH are via the Children’s Portal.

The Children’s Portal will allow you to make a referral for child protection or family support, view all your referrals in one place, and submit a foster carer enquiry. You now only need to complete one referral form for children who need Early Help. We will decide which service is best placed to provide the support, so you won’t have to choose. Our new triage arrangement for Early Help has a dedicated team to review and oversee all referrals managed by a social work manager.

There is also a dedicated space where you can access information, advice and guidance information on the Early Help Family Hub, Youth Support, our Local Offer, Health & Wellbeing and Parent to Parent Support
