Mini Bassoon

Learn how to play the Mini Bassoon through a range of engaging and inspiring musical activities to develop general musicianship skills and technique.

Lessons will continue to take place face to face in schools but by booking these lessons you are accepting that the lessons will be given online where strictly necessary. Lessons may take place during curriculum learning time and/or break and lunchtimes, and please note that at secondary schools the instrumental lesson timetable generally rotates each week so that pupils do not always miss the same curriculum lesson.

Please note that pupils must have an instrument to use for lessons and to practise on at home in between lessons. Many instruments are available to hire from EMS - please see the Instrument Hire Store for more details.

Availability of in-school lessons depends on there being enough pupils wanting to learn to play the same instrument.

Group lessons are only available if there is another pupil of a similar standard to group your child with.  If not, you can either top up to pay for individual lessons, or we would otherwise have to cancel your booking.

If we cannot provide the lessons you have booked we will refund any fees paid.

Recommended Year Group
EMS recommends that children should be in at least school year 3 to start learning this instrument, due to both the physical size of the instrument and levels of dexterity required.
