There are discounts available for some pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals (not including Universal Free School Meals). Please click below to view more information on these discounts and who is able to receive them.
There are discounts available for some pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), but there are changes to FSM eligibility coming into effect from September 2026.

The discounts available for lessons with EMS will apply for children who are eligible for Targeted FSM - you can check if this applies to you here.
Lessons: The level of funding support is agreed by each school. You need to get a signed letter from the school confirming they will help fund lessons for your child, and upload it to the child's profile on our Music Store. A discount on the cost will then automatically be applied to the products in your basket at check out.
Ensemble membership: There is a 50% discount for pupils eligible for Targeted FSM. This discount will automatically be applied to your basket once a confirmation of school funding letter is uploaded to your child's profile.
Instrument hire: There is a 25% discount on instrument hire for pupils who are eligible for Targeted FSM. This discount will automatically be applied to your basket once a confirmation of school funding letter is uploaded to your child's profile.
If your child is not receiving lessons through EMS so you do not have a funding letter from the school to upload, please email us confirmation of eligibility for Targeted Free Schools Meals to enfieldmusicservice@enfield.gov.uk and we will send you a discount code to use when you book ensemble membership or instrument hire only.
