Please note: We only recommend pupils starting the following brass/woodwind instruments after their front adult teeth are firmly established: Bassoon, Clarineo, Clarinet, Flute, Mini Bassoon, Oboe, Saxophone, Baritone, Cornet, Euphonium, French Horn, Tenor Horn, Trumpet, Trombone and/or Tuba.

Because places are limited for music lessons out of school hours, we operate a waiting list therefore these lessons need to be approved before you can pay for them.  To make a request for out of school lessons:

• Log in and click ‘Store’ then select ‘Music Lessons Store’ (top right of the page)
• Choose your instrument then select the pupil 
• In the drop down for ‘Lesson type & price’ make sure you select Out Of School – 20 minute or 30 minute
• You will then be given the option to select Saturday or Tuesday
• Please enter any comments that may assist Enfield Music Service and click continue to send your request.

You will not be asked to pay at this point and will see a message on screen that EMS will contact you to discuss availability and to let you know what you need to do next.

You do not need to re-request out of school lessons each term.

If you are making a new request and have no preference for Saturday or Tuesday, please leave both boxes un-ticked and add a comment.

Venue and times:

Saturday Music Centre at The Raglan Schools (Raglan Road, EN1 2RG)
Opening hours: 9.00am to 12.30pm

Instruments currently offered include: piano, electronic keyboard, guitar, ukulele, drum kit, violin, viola, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, flute, recorder, clarinet and voice. Other instruments may be offered depending on the demand.

Tuesday after-school Lessons at Enfield County Lower School (Rosemary Avenue, Enfield, EN2 0SP)
Opening hours: 4.30pm to 7.30pm

Instruments currently offered include: drum kit, guitar, ukulele, trumpet, trombone, french horn, piano, electronic keyboard, violin, viola, clarinet and saxophone.  Other instruments may be offered depending on the demand.

An additional £15.00 venue fee is charged for lessons out of school hours.

Each term out of school places will be allocated to existing pupils first as long as lessons are renewed by the deadline given.  New requests will be managed on a strict first come, first served waiting list policy.
