Addressing Educational Disadvantage in Enfield
At the last Disadvantaged Pupils Network practice sharing event at the end of November we heard two inspiring accounts of whole school approaches from Woodpecker Academy in Enfield and Cardinal Pole Catholic School in Hackney.
The next Addressing Educational Disadvantage Enfield event will be the launch of a short publication that schools from across Enfield have contributed to.
We would love as many school leaders as possible to attend.
- Marc Rowlands will introduce the event and we will share our Enfield publication.
- Neil Stirrat, Director of Primary Standards at the BMAT trust working across East London and Essex and an expert on Pupil Premium Strategy, will lead a session on Creating Inclusive Classrooms Through Collaborative Learning.
- Marianne, Head of Capel Manor Primary School, will also be sharing what they have been working on around oracy.
- A speaker from an Enfield secondary school.
