If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way that they learn

The SEND/Inclusion Professional Learning Programme is developed by Enfield schools’ trusted partners in the Local Authority.  Training courses cover a broad range of special educational needs and disabilities that classroom practitioners will encounter.  All programmes are led by outstanding providers from within Enfield or other nationally endorsed experts within their SEND/Inclusion specialism.  The comprehensive programme is devised with local knowledge and aims to support school staff in responding to the challenges that practitioners face in their day to day work.  School staff attending training will learn how to make their practice more inclusive, have higher expectations for their pupils with SEND and be better equipped to accelerate pupils’ progress academically, socially and with their life skills.

^{Schools have the option to buy a professional learning (PL) package for SEND & Inclusion. This results in significant savings for schools, the annual package includes a minimum of 20 sessions, all of which up to two school staff are able to register for. Once purchased, the PL Booker for each school can book two people onto all courses within SEND & Inclusion (additional places after the two have been booked will be charged at the cost displayed on the course page).}
