Aims
This bespoke training is aimed at Special School Governors
This course is being run by Gillian Douglas, who is an independent SEND Consultant and Director of Inclusive Education Training and Support.
Her career has been spent teaching pupils with SEND (11 years), and working with Local Authorities (16 years) in both statutory and school improvement roles to enhance the education for pupils with SEND.
The objectives of the course are to:
• Understanding the Curriculum
• Understanding Ofsted’s expectations of the Curriculum
• The role of the Governors in supporting the Quality Assurance of the curriculum and holding the school to account
