First Aid for Teaching Assistant and Support Staff - Jan 2022

Aims

To support staff in dealing with; Emergency First Aid, everyday accidents and relevant first aid treatments. Accident reporting procedures and special needs e.g epilepsy, diabetes and asthma.

Overview

This course will cover first aid procedures pertinent to a school environment. The role of the first aider including; Adult and Child resuscitation (CPR), Unresponsive Child/Adult,communication and casualty care, seizures, choking child/adult, allergic reation, minor & servere bleeding, giving medication at school (including auto-injections), Head injuries, shock.

We have been trading since 1999 teaching First Aid to schools and the general public
