Aims
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- To clarify the HLTA standards
- To prepare for your half day assessment
- To clarify how to write the HLTA assignments to meet the standards
Overview
The online course prepares TAs for the half-day school-based assessment visit or telephone interview, leading to the award of HLTA status. Selection for HLTA is based on the completion of the HLTA application form and fulfilling the entry requirements. The HLTA Programme will run each term.
You must complete an application form and submit copies of your GCSE English and maths certificates before you are offered a place on this programme. Contact seyis@enfield.gov.uk for more information.
Professional Learning Packages:
Schools have the option to buy a professional learning (PL) package for Teaching Assistants & Support Staff. Once purchased, the PL Booker for each school can book two people onto all courses within Teaching Assistants & Support Staff. Additional places will be charged at the cost displayed on the course page.
