Aims

These meetings and events provide updates and CPD to support Primary Science coordinators and primary teachers teaching science to develop their skills and knowledge around science and science pedagogy. They also offer colleagues the opportunity to engage in professional dialogue, share good practice around meeting common challenges and to keep up to date with and curriculum policy changes:

Overview

These are termly meetings to support the continuing professional development of Primary Science Coordinators and support them in meeting the challenges of their post.

The agenda will vary according to the time of year and national priorities but will cover a range of the following:
• updates on national development
• changes to assessment
• opportunities to share good practice
• wider curriculum and enrichment opportunities
• training and development on subject specific pedagogy
• school/subject priorities identified by science leaders
