Aims
To develop and support staff with understanding the needs of children with Down’s Syndrome
To provide an important avenue for peer supervision and support
To provide opportunities for members to access and share the skills and knowledge of each other as well as other professionals
Overview
This network has been developed by EYSI in response to requests from staff supporting pupils with Down’s Syndrome and is back by popular demand. Staff attending will have the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and develop and enhance their understanding of the difficulties faced by pupils with Down’s Syndrome in a setting/school environment. This supportive network is an excellent opportunity for staff to develop their skills through sharing ideas. According to needs and requests, guest speakers are invited to provide more specialist advice around practical strategies that staff can use in their setting or school.

Professional Learning Packages:
Schools have the option to buy a professional learning (PL) package for SEND & Inclusion. Once purchased, the PL Booker for each school can book two people onto all courses within SEND & Inclusion. Additional places will be charged at the cost displayed on the course page.
