- Understanding how access to outdoor spaces and outdoor learning supports sensory and emotional regulation
- Practical ways to bring indoor learning to the outdoors: adapting the curriculum for more outdoor learning experiences
Overview
The pandemic has highlighted how vital the outdoors is for our well being. Equally, there is evidence which indicates that outdoor experiences and learning supports all aspects of a child’s development including social, emotional, motor, and cognitive skills.
This training will explore what this means practically for educators who are constantly striving to provide children with holistic learning experiences.
