COVID-19 Vaccine in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington

All Phases

Below is some information about how to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. We would be very grateful if you could share this information with parents and staff.

All adults aged 18 or over can now get a COVID-19 vaccine. You do not need to be a UK citizen or permanent resident – anybody aged 18 or over in the UK is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination for free, regardless of their nationality or immigration status. The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to protect yourself, friends and family from the virus.

To book an appointment, go to: www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or call 119 free of charge, 7am-11pm, 7 days a week.

Appointments are no longer needed at many vaccination centres – find out more here about walk-in centres in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. Follow the North Central London NHS on Twitter and Facebook for latest information about where to get the jab. There is a large pop-up vaccination event happening this Sunday 18 July from 10am to 6 pm at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Find out more here.

Some 16 and 17 year olds are also eligible for the vaccine (e.g. health and social care workers and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable). Under 18s will need to speak to their GP to confirm their eligibility and organise a vaccination appointment.

Many people have questions about the vaccines. For trustworthy information to help you decide whether to have the vaccine, you can find answers to lots of questions on the NHS website and from the Department of Health and Social Care. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has information and videos about the vaccine and pregnancy and fertility. If you have more questions, when you arrive for your appointment at a vaccination centre, you will be able to have a private consultation with a trusted, healthcare professional. You can discuss with them any concerns you have about the vaccine, its safety or whether it is suitable for you and your individual circumstances. You are not under any obligation to be vaccinated following this conversation if you would prefer not to.
