Launch event for the CYP Mental Health Equalities Listening project report

Date:  Tuesday 14th March

Time: 3:30pm-5pm.

Audience: This event is open to all and will include a panel discussion with young people. Please spread the word!

Aims:

The listening project was a collaboration between Black Thrive, Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind and Partnership for Young London with Transformation Partners in Health and Care to understand the experience of mental health service provision and hear the views of young people from Asian, Black and Latin American backgrounds.

The report outlines the findings and insights from the listening project. It includes personal stories from young people, a set of recommendations for system leaders and service providers as well as a set of examples of good practice to offer guidance in how to address avoidable health inequalities that our young people are experiencing with their mental health and experiences of service provision in London.

  • To share the findings from the listening project and launch the insight report.
  • Share positive practice examples of what services and systems could consider the mental health and wellbeing of young people from Asian, Black and Latin American backgrounds.
  • Explore the recommendations and actions from the listening project and next steps locally and regionally.
