Bite Back in Schools

For all Secondary Schools & Key Stage 3 - Attention Headteachers or any Subject Lead (PSHE/RSE)

The Bite Back in Schools (BBiS) programme is open to secondary schools across England and is designed for KS3 students to develop their skills as social activists by challenging a food system that is rigged against them.

The programme runs from September 2024 - June 2025. It features a powerful assembly from one of our young activists, whole year group sessions and our ever popular School Food Champions club, where students plan and deliver a social action project to make a difference to their school food. BBiS also helps students develop a range of skills from teamwork and leadership, project and time management, to budgeting and problem solving.

There’s lots of support when you join the programme and the wonderful news is that BBiS is fully funded and fully resourced. We have 80 places available for the September 2024 intake. Successful applicants will be provided with a specialised digital platform, funding and resources worth £1400, plus exclusive merch and sessions from our youth ambassadors.
