Flu Vaccines

It is important that all staff that can have the flu vaccine, get a flu jab this year.

By getting your free flu vaccination, you will also be helping to protect the NHS so that it is not overwhelmed at an already difficult time with the usual winter pressures and the threat of a COVID-19 second wave.

All Council staff, including front line health and social care workers and school workers are encouraged to get a free flu vaccination this season. Academies this is available to you at a charge of £8.75, these will need to be purchased here.

We have made it easy for you to access your free flu jab through:

  • Well Pharmacies – Please read the booking procedure below to use whether you are based in Enfield or working from home. There are 750 Well Pharmacies nationwide.
  • On-site flu vaccination clinics for staff based at Morson Road Depot on 4th,11th and 18th November 2020

We intended to use flu e-vouchers supplied by Lloyds Pharmacies for staff working from home outside of Enfield. However, Lloyds have now suspended this service at the present time.  Therefore, we will be using Well Pharmacies – please see below.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to get a free flu jab from your GP.

Just as a reminder, if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or are self-isolating because you have confirmed COVID-19 or suspected COVID-19, you should not attend to get a flu jab until you have recovered and completed the required isolation period.
