Community Collect Testing Kits for Covid-19

FAO: Headteachers

Dear Headteachers,

Please see below information relating to the Community Collect testing kits for Covid-19. Collection test kits are now available at all of our testing sites for home testing, assuming the criteria below is met:

One member of the household is a school, nursery or college pupil; works in a school nursery or college or works in an occupation relating to school, nursery or college

Please note that as we are in Purdah it MUST be sent by headteachers and not amended in any way to comply with the pre-election rules. So for example you should not say “Enfield Council has provided details of mass testing kits”

Dear Parent,

Enfield Council is making rapid test kits available at each of its eight rapid test centres in the borough to make it easier for student in full time education, teachers and other groups to get themselves tested for coronavirus regularly and to protect our community from the spread of the virus.

Our test centre locations are:

  • Boundary Hall, 7 Snell's Park, London N18 2SY.
  • Bowes Road Library, 269 Bowes Rd, N11 1BD
  • Brigadier Hall, Cedar Road, EN2 0NL.
  • British Alevi Federation Community Centre, Great Cambridge Road, London, N9 9LE.
  • Green Towers Community Centre, Plevna Road, Edmonton, N9 0TE.  John Wilkes House, 79 High Street, Ponders End, EN3 4EN.
  • Kempe Hall, Kempe Road, EN1 4QS.
  • Southgate Library, High Street, Southgate, N14 6BP.

Sites are open 9am to 6pm, seven days a week, except for Southgate Library which is open from 7.30am to 7.30pm. If you wish to attend to take a test, you do not need to book but should not have symptoms of coronavirus.

You can collect test kits from our rapid test centres to test your household, childcare bubble or support bubble if at least one member:

  • is a school, nursery or college pupil
  • works in a school, nursery or college (this includes temporary workers or volunteers)
  • works in an occupation related to a school, nursery or college

Many thanks
