When the Barnet and Enfield hubs partnered with Middlesex University to plan a virtual event, a key objective was to showcase the vast range of NHS careers available, not just in nursing but in other fields.

There are 350 careers available in the NHS. Some will give you direct contact with patients, while in others you are part of a vast support network vital to delivering healthcare. Some roles are in hospitals, others are based in the community. Some require the highest academic standards, while for many positions, employers are looking for enthusiasm, keenness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

The event will take place on 11th March from 4.30 – 7.30 with access to a number of different sessions. Students interested in the range of rewarding careers the NHS can offer are able to sign up directly at https://www.mdx.ac.uk/study-with-us/information-for-schools/resources/nhs-social-care-careers-fair where they will be sent the schedule and Zoom links for the sessions they wish to attend.  If they cannot watch all of them live, they will be able to watch them after the event.
