The Pursuit of Excellence Event - Save the Date!

FAO: Headteachers, Principals and CEO`s

The Schools Traded Services team are putting together an illustrious evening called The Pursuit of Excellence on Tuesday 05 July 2022.

We are really delighted to invite headteachers, principals and CEO`s to this event to be held at Enfield County Girls School (Upper site). This will provide the opportunity for school leaders to come together to listen to two keynote speakers who will focus on the pursuit of and achieving excellence in their careers.

Mark Foster was an Olympic swimmer and had much success in Commonwealth, European and World short course swimming events.  He set 8 world records, won 6 world titles and won 11 European Championship Gold medals.

Rudolph Walker is famous for his role in East Enders and in many other film and TV series dating back to the 1960’s. He has worked with quite a number of schools particularly in terms of promoting young disadvantaged pupils into the entertainment industry.

In addition, Marc Rowland will be in attendance and briefly outline some of the great work he has seen in Enfield schools in his visits so far this year. And Ian Davis and Tony Theodoulou will thank you on behalf of the borough for your work over the past two years throughout one of the most trying times there has been in education and in society for some time.

Objectives of the “Pursuit of Excellence Event”

1. To provide a focus for the pursuit of excellence in our leadership roles recognising the downs, ups and struggle in the pursuit of improvement.

2. To recognise the strong leadership of headteachers and principals.

3. To provide an opportunity to promote the excellent Enfield Schools Catering Service.

4. To acknowledge and share some of the strong educational practice in Enfield Schools.

We look forward to seeing you there!
