History Through the Black Experience

A celebration and book launch

14th October Green Towers Community Centre 2 - 4pm

All secondary schools in the borough of Enfield are invited. Open to 6th form students, heads of 6th forms, head teachers, history teachers, pastoral heads and leads i/c of diversity, inclusivity and Black History Month.

Celebrating the launch of ‘History Through the Black Experience’ Vol 1 & 2.  The author will talk about his writing and work including lectures at Imperial College, talks on Prison Radio and workshops in schools, his 33 years as a teacher and how the books can be employed in schools by teachers and act as an invaluable resource in school libraries.

Enfield Caribbean Association will also be present.  Caribbean food, cultural books, material and products will be on sale alongside signed copies of

‘History Through the Black Experience’.

With seating for 200 and 26 secondary schools in the borough, space will be limited and at a premium. Get involved now! First confirmed, first served.
