Exciting Opportunities for Young Athletes at The London Youth Games
Are you ready to showcase your sporting talent and proudly represent Team Enfield at the London Youth Games? We have thrilling trials and competitions coming up in Badminton, Girls Football, and Hockey.
Badminton Trials: Calling all aspiring badminton champions! Join us for trials on Friday, May 17th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Drill Hall, 1 Old Park Ave, Enfield EN2 6PJ. Training sessions for successful candidates will follow on May 24th, 31st, June 7th, and 14th at the same venue. The London Youth Games 2024 Badminton Competition will take place on Sunday, June 16th, at Redbridge Sports Centre. Age groups welcome are 11-17 years old. Eligibility requires living or attending school in Enfield. Make sure you're available for all dates mentioned above. To register or for more information, contact sport@enfield.gov.uk.
Girls Football Trials: Attention all young football enthusiasts! Girls football trials will be held at Southbury Leisure Centre, 192 Southbury Rd, Enfield EN1 1YP, on Tuesday, April 30th, and Tuesday, May 7th, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Training sessions for successful trialists will be on May 14th, 21st, 28th, and June 4th at the same venue. The London Youth Games 2024 Girls Football competition will take place on Sunday, June 9th, at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub. Age groups are divided into Year 7 & Year 8 (11-13 years old) and Year 9 & Year 10 (13-15 years old). Eligibility requires living or attending school in Enfield. Hockey Trials: Get ready to hit the field and show off your hockey skills! Hockey trials will be held at Southbury Leisure Centre on Saturday, April 27th, and Saturday, May 4th, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Training sessions for selected players will be on Saturdays - May 11th, 18th, June 8th, 15th, and 22nd at the same venue. The London Youth Games 2024 Hockey competition will take place on Saturday, June 29th (Boys) and Sunday, June 30th (Girls), at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.
