Preparing for Adulthood all-age curriculum guidance
As part of the Delivering Better Value Programme in Enfield, we are working to support our young people in their journeys to adulthood.
This guidance has been co-produced with schools and colleges, young people and parents, the SEN Service, Educational Psychology Service and representatives from Health and Social Care and is designed to break down each of the strands of Preparation for Adulthood into meaningful and manageable outcomes, activities and resources for young people at every stage of their educational journey.
The PfA guidance is available as a professional’s version, for use in educational settings and with other services who work with young people, such as Health, Social Care and Virtual School. A families’ version is also available to be used within the home and community. In addition to this, assessment booklets are available to help professionals and families to track their young person’s progress. For more information, please contact Maria.Mulvihill@enfield.gov.uk
