STA Assessment update – 7th July

The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) latest email was sent on 7 July 2026 and includes the following information, actions and reminders listed below.
The STA has advised this is the final assessment update for the academic year 2025 to 2026 and are planning to send the next update on Tuesday 1 September 2026.

Important updates
- Information: change to the timetable for the release of the 2026 KS2 test results
- Information: applying for a review of pupils’ KS2 test results
Reception
- Action: download your 2025 RBA narrative statements by the end of the summer term
- Reminder: prepare to administer the 2026 RBA at the start of the autumn term
Key stage 2
- Information: KS2 test results will be available from Thursday 16 July
- Information: 2026 KS2 raw score to scaled score conversion tables and guidance
- Information: KS2 results guidance for parents
- Action: download your multiplication tables check (MTC) results by the end of the summer term
