Early Years and Primary Transition Materials 2021

Dear colleague
Here are the early years and primary transition booklets for 2021. Included in this year’s suite of materials are the following:
- A coming into Reception transition booklet – This new booklet, added to our suite of materials for 2021, is designed to be used by nurseries, settings and childminders to support children starting reception. Please note: This booklet is also being shared with all Enfield settings and childminders
- A moving from Reception to Year 1 transition booklet – This is an updated version of last year’s booklet, designed to support children moving from reception to Year 1
- A moving from Year 1 to Year 2 transition booklet – This new booklet, added to our suite of materials for 2021, is designed to be used to support children moving from Year 1 into Year 2.
- A moving from Year 2 to Year 3 transition booklet - This new booklet, added to our suite of materials for 2021, is designed to be used by all schools for children moving from Year 2 to Year 3 but is particularly aimed at those children moving from infant to new junior schools. Please note: Hard copies of this pack will be delivered to all separate infant schools to support this transition.
- An updated early years transition timeline and settling in transition plan to support children coming into reception.
