Local COVID-19 Vaccination Update

A message from the NHS North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group

All adults aged 18 or over can now get a COVID-19 vaccine. You do not need to be a UK citizen or permanent resident – anybody aged 18 or over in the UK is eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination for free, regardless of their nationality or immigration status.

To book an appointment, go to: www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or call 119 free of charge, 7am-11pm, 7 days a week.

Appointments are no longer needed at many vaccination centres – find out more here about walk-in centres in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. You do not need an NHS number or any ID to attend a walk-in clinic.

Some 16 and 17 year olds are also eligible for the vaccine (e.g. health and social care workers and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable). Under 18s cannot use the walk-in centres and will need to speak to their GP to confirm their eligibility and organise a vaccination appointment.

Many people have questions about the vaccines. If you want more trustworthy information before deciding whether to have the vaccine, you can find answers to lots of questions on the NHS website and from the Department of Health and Social Care.
