Census Education Programme is Heading Back to the Classroom
The Local Authorities Partnerships Officer from the Census 2021 Engagement & Outreach Team at the Office for National Statistics are keen to make local authority education departments aware of the schools census education programme which will be starting again soon.
They have started communicating with primary schools in England and Wales to invite them to register to take part in Let’s Count! 2022, the Office for National Statistics primary education programme for Census 2021.
The programme is relaunching in preparation for the release of the Census 2021 first results in late spring 2022. There will be new lesson plans and resources for schools to use. Registration to take part in this year’s programme is free and opens up this week for all primary schools.
