Teacher Focus Group - £15 and free illustration resources for your thoughts on the new Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration!

FAO: All School & Academies - All Phases

Hello from House of Illustration!

We hope this e-mail finds you well and busy with interesting projects. Since closing our doors at Granary Square, we have been focusing our energy on our future home at New River Head as the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration and looking forward to building new relationships with schools and communities around us.

For this purpose, we would like to invite you to take part in our first teacher focus group of the year. This will be a truly valuable opportunity to engage and reconnect with you all and to understand how we can best support schools through creative skills and illustration.  We are looking for a range of teachers from Primary/Secondary/SEND settings - you may be totally new to illustration or love using it across the curriculum; either way, we would love to hear from you!

The session will take place on Monday 11 July 4:30-6:00pm at Laycock Centre, Laycock St, London N1 1TH. You will get £15 for your time, as well as free refreshments and some wonderful illustration resources.

If interested in signing up to this event, please fill out this 2min survey here – we will confirm places by Monday 4 July.

If you are unable to make the date but are still interested in helping, please fill out the survey to log your details. Also, please do pass on to any other teachers who you think would like to get involved!

And of course, if you have any questions in the meantime don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Wishing you a creative month ahead and looking forward to hearing from you,

House of Illustration
