World Peace School Sports Day from Sydney to Seattle - 21 September 2022

On 21 September, to coincide with the UN World Day of Peace, schools worldwide are invited to come together in solidarity to demonstrate the power of young people and sport to reaffirm international values of friendship by taking part in the first ever World Peace School Sports Day. Given the current hostilities in Ukraine, the organisers ask that funds raised in the first year go to support the people caught up in this humanitarian disaster.
It couldn’t be simpler to take part: wearing blue or yellow for the day, pupils donate £1 to take part in a school-based sport, or code, design and take part in themed e-sport activities. Students can participate in events organised by the school or just decide to run around the playground on their own - the decision is up to each individual school.
