Gas and Electricity Prices from October 2022

Further to the comms sent after February Schools Forum the energy market has become increasingly volatile due to the situation in Ukraine.

At present the pricing is changing hour by hour so the prediction of increases previously advised may well be incorrect.  FYI the figures given were:

Gas:                       80%

Electricity:            50%

Regretfully they are likely to be even higher.  As I am sure you can appreciate I am unable to give any definitive figures and can only recommend extreme caution when considering budgets.

I will update at the next Schools Forum in June or before if there is anything more concrete.
