A new, clever type of phishing email has been detected in one of Enfields schools.
The scam email used the name of the Business Manager and asked their finance colleague for an invoice to a Solicitors firm be paid.
It is important to check emails received are genuine. If something looks, sounds or feels suspicious, the first step is to look at the senders actual email address. If this does not look correct, please treat it as suspicious and report it to your ICT team immediately.
