FAO: All Primary Schools, Nurseries, Primary Head teachers, Contacts who can share with parents of 1-9 year olds.

Keep your Fmily Protected against Polio.

The polio virus has been detected in London’s sewage system.
Polio is rare but can be very serious if you are not vaccinated. It can
have potentially life changing effects for those who catch it. The
infection attacks the nervous system and can cause permanent
paralysis of muscles.

Children aged 1-9 years in London are urged to get an additional
dose of the polio vaccine now. This vaccine is proven to be safe and
effective, and offers the best possible protection against polio for
your child.
