Tesco's Community Grants Project for Enfield Schools

We have received the following message from Groundwork London on behalf of Tesco's Community Grants Project funding for schools:
Hello,
My name is Emily, and I am the enabler for the Tesco's Community Grants Project in Enfield.
I am getting in touch as Tesco's has decided to focus on funding schools for the foreseeable future, and we are low on applications in your borough. This means you stand a good chance of being successful if you are able to get an application in before August.
The application process is very straight forward. It's designed to be quick and easy, taking as little as 20 minutes to complete. Shortlisted projects are displayed in their local Tesco stores for a 3-month voting period, and the top placed project will receive £1500, the 2nd - £1000 and the 3rd - £500. Funding must be used within a year.
The deadline for this round is 11th August 2023. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so don't worry if you just can't manage by this date, there is no deadline, it's just likely there will be stronger competition after this time.

Here are some ideas of previously successful applications from schools:
- School trips or activities for children that might have missed out during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Buying camping equipment for Scouts, Cubs and Beavers' camping trips
- Renovating school gardens to enable children to learn about nature and food growing
- Enabling Children with Special needs to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme
- Funding an independent classroom to provide the children with an alternative quiet, safe and warm environment.
- Funding for 1:1 mentoring for children struggling with reading
- An upgrade of sports equipment to enhance physical education within school
