Overview of Childhood Vaccines, Immunity and Disease Webinar

FAO: Anyone who interacts in a non-clinical, professional capacity with children and families

The North Central London ICB Immunisation Improvement Project Managers would like to invite you to a webinar which they are running on Childhood Immunisations.

This webinar is a training session providing an overview of childhood vaccines, immunity, and disease aimed at anyone who interacts in a non-clinical, professional capacity with children and families, including children’s centre workers, health ambassadors, early years staff and more.

The session covers topics including why we vaccinate babies and children, why vaccines matter, understanding the immune system and how you can help with discussions with families about immunisations.

The sessions will run in the form of a 30-minute presentation, followed by 15 minutes for attendees to ask any questions. If you are only able to attend the first 30-minutes, you are still more than welcome to register for the webinar.

It will be the same presentation given at each session, plus a recorded webinar will be sent out to all, which can be shared with those who were unable to attend.

The sessions will be held on:

  • Monday 13st March at 12pm-12:45pm.
  • Wednesday 15th March at 13pm-13:45pm
  • Friday 17th March at 13:30pm-14:15pm
