Mediated Learning Support Approach (MeLSA)

FAO: All Heads, Deputy Heads, Learning Leads, SENCOs

The Educational Psychology Service is very pleased to announce the dates and information sessions for our first cohort of MeLSA trainees. The Mediated Learning Support Approach (MeLSA) teaches the psychology of learning, and how to use mediation to develop pupils’ independent learning skills. MeLSA is very helpful for teachers, support staff and SENCOs, and can be used in a flexible way to meet the needs within your schools. We have 25 places for school staff on our first cohort, with the training taking place in the spring term. There is a cost for this training.

Please see the accompanying MeLSA brochure with full information, and the flyer about our information sessions.

Our MeLSA EPs, Dr Sue Bennett and Dr Becky Mulhall, are holding two (identical) information sessions where you can find out more, on Wednesday 8th November at 10am and Monday 13th November at 4pm. Please sign up here to join a session.

If you cannot attend an information session but would like to express an interest in registering staff, please sign up here.
