Funding from Education Endowment Foundation (EEF)
For all Secondary Headteachers
The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is offering funding to improve the writing skills of students aged 11-16 from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds in England.
Through their Spring 2024 grant-funding round, the EEF will support educational programmes that aim to raise writing attainment.
They offer two funding streams: Development and Pilot; and Efficacy and Effectiveness Trials.
For Development projects there is a fixed grant of £22,000 available to contribute towards the costs of engaging in the development process, delivering the programme to settings, and collecting formative feedback.
There is no minimum or maximum size of grant for Pilot projects, or Efficacy and Effectiveness Trials. The deadline for applications is 11am on the 4th April 2024.
