Promoting the Participation of Young People in Education or Training
For all Headteachers, Careers Leads, Pastoral Staff, Heads of Year 11 & Heads of Sixth Form
The Participation and Inclusion Team has created a resource called
"Your Next Steps" for 16–18-year-olds who may need additional support to participate in post 16 education or training.
This interactive resource features:
• All Post 16 options
• Career activities to help young people explore their interests and make informed career decisions.
• Careers related websites
Our team is part of the School & Early Years Improvement Service (SEYIS) and is responsible for delivering the council’s statutory duty for the Raising Participation Age (RPA).
