Asthma Friendly Schools Update
For all Schools and HUB Users
Congratulations to Bowes Primary on being the first school to be awarded the Asthma Friendly School status under Enfield Council’s newly commissioned Asthma Friendly Schools programme.
Enfield’s School Nursing Service are currently working with a further 13 schools across Enfield to help them achieve their Asthma Friendly Schools status. Staff at an Asthma Friendly School will understand asthma, know how to respond quickly if a child becomes unwell, and ensure children with asthma can participate safely in all aspects of school life.
If you are interested in your school becoming an Asthma Friendly School please contact Gudrun Strickland at Enfield’s School Nursing Service by email gudrun.strickland@nhs.net or telephone 07929744742.
Further details on the celebration of Bowes Primary being awarded this status can be found here.
