Exciting FREE online events for Schools - Maths and Engineering
For all Primary & Secondary School Head Teachers
By way of context, my name is Rachael and I am coordinating the delivery of a national project to develop education resources on sickle cell and thalassaemia. The project has been funded by NHS England.
To coincide with the start of the school year, we have developed new sickle cell and thalassaemia eLearning resources for schools - to raise awareness of the conditions and better support young people whilst in education. The resources include self-guided interactive learning, practical guidance, real-life scenarios developed by patients, a short explainer animation, and template care plans. They are applicable across primary, secondary and higher education settings. I have copied links to all of the resources at the end of this email.
I am reaching out with a request for support in disseminating these resources to head teachers and schools within Enfield. We have been made aware that Local Authorities circulate information and host regular meetings with teachers in their regions, which we believe would be a helpful platform to promote these resources.
We were kindly shared your contact details via Bambos Charalambous MP, who has routinely campaigned for improvements for individuals living with thalassaemia.
