The school audit testing programme is aligned to the Schools Financial Value Standard (SFVS), is designed to assess whether controls are adequately designed and operating effectively.
Internal Audit has prepared this framework to provide an outline for schools of the areas that will be covered in audits and key documentation that will be required during the review.
We hope schools will find this helpful, especially when preparing for an internal audit review this year.
