North London Student Sustainability Conference - 20 November 2025

For all Secondary School Year 8 Pupils (going into Year 9 this September)

North London Waste Authority is inviting year 8 students (going into year 9 this September) to take part in the North London Student Sustainability Conference (NLSSC), taking place on 20 November 2025 at EcoPark House, Edmonton. 

This event encourages students to think creatively about sustainability. To enter, student teams must identify a waste or recycling issue in their school and propose an innovative solution in a short, 2-minute video. Selected schools will be invited to the Conference to collaborate on action plans for a low-waste north London. 

The Conference will include: 

• Debates, presentations, and speeches from guest speakers 
• A live Q&A session 
• Awards for outstanding contributions
• You will have a chance to win a £300 voucher for your school

Submissions are open until 5pm on the 24 July 2025.
