ENFIELD INTERVENTION FIRST (EIF) FUNDING

For all School SENCOs, Inclusion Leads and Headteachers

Enfield Intervention First (EIF) funding, previously known as Tier 3 funding, is a pilot initiative for the academic year 2025/26.  It provides targeted, funded early intervention support for reception-aged pupils whose needs exceed what can be met through the school’s universal SEND provision.

EIF enables schools to deliver focused, interventions aimed at closing attainment gaps and supporting progress towards educational targets, thereby improving outcomes for children with SEND.  Once approved, EIF funding is allocated to the child for a period of 12 calendar months, after which the impact will be reviewed, and a collaborative decision will be made regarding the next steps.

For further information please refer to the school leaflet and if you would like to discuss further, please contact Seema Shah, EIF Lead, on 020 8132 2695 or seema.shah@enfield.gov.uk.

Applications can be submitted via MS forms here:  https://forms.office.com/e/fhqMDwtYJQ.
