The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) latest email was sent on 2 June 2026 and includes the following information, actions and reminders listed below.

Primary assessments general
- Information: multi-academy trusts and key stage 3 schools can access the NCA Portal in June
Reception
- Action: prepare to administer the 2026 RBA
- Publication: updated RBA administration and IT guidance
- Reminder: 2026 RBA assessment and reporting arrangements (ARA) published
- Reminder: complete early years foundation stage (EYFS) profile assessments by the end of June
Key stage 1
- Action: prepare to administer the phonics screening check from Monday 8 June
- Publication: optional KS1 test materials and scaled scores
Key stage 2
- Action: administer the multiplication tables check over the next 2 weeks
- Action: submit KS2 teacher assessment data by Friday 26 June
- Publication: guidance on accessing 2026 KS2 results
