Enfield Model Child Protection Policy 2026
For all DSLs, Headteachers and Heads of service in Education
Please find attached the Enfield Model Child Protection Policy for 2026. You will also be able to find it on my safeguarding pages on The Hub.
If you choose to use this model policy you will need to adapt this to your setting and remove the highlighted sections. The first two pages contain notes and instructions which you should read and then delete.
Please note that when the final version of KCSIE was published yesterday it contained a number of important changes from the ‘for information’ version published earlier in the year. These have now been incorporated into the model policy and information on these extra changes provided in the notes pages. We will also send out information about these changes in our first RoundUp of the academic year on Friday.
We are now updating all our other material so it is all fully compliant with the changes. Our self-audit tools will be ready by the end of this week and we recommend you complete a self-audit early this term.
