Free, curriculum-linked workshops on waste, reuse, and repair are available for Spring 2026 at NLWA’s EcoPark house. Sessions include hands-on activities and a recycling centre tour, supporting national curriculum goals.
👕 Free KS1 & KS2 Clothing Waste Lessons Available
New downloadable lessons on clothing waste are now live on NLWA’s Education Hub. Covering where clothes come from and how to make sustainable choices, each pack includes ready-to-teach resources and a school assembly. Want to go the extra mile? 📖 In the Know Schools Programme Returns!
This year, 14 schools have begun the In the Know programme, with over 4,600 pupils taking part in assemblies and waste audits so far! Use NLWA’s assembly packs to help students reduce waste and improve recycling. Be the first to know about next year’s applications by registering your interest with this form.
